WHAT WE DO We have several seminars that can be given in the limited time of a traveler ( 2–3 hours) with all the ducational aids like Power Point displays, charts, samples etc.  We search to provide the traveler (Tourist or student) with a very accurate frame of knowledge that would allow to better appreciate the diverse cultural wealth in which is getting involved.  After the “Class time” we organize activities like field trips, in which our scholars will put them in touch “hands on” with the diverse artifacts, samples or environment to complement the learning process. The goal of our seminars is to give an accurate interpretation of the different fields of our seminars helping the cultural diffusion without getting involved in research nor with regular academic programs. However, if required we can be the link with local or National Universities for further studies. WHO TO SELL Our seminars are designed for everybody at any age. We do not require special preparation or previous studies. Our customers have fun learning and most important: They participate “hands on” CULTURAL TOURS Any tourist itinerary may include one or more seminars to give a better cultural approach to the knowledge of the Country. STUDY TOURS If you have planned study tours we can help you providing an organic learning process with several seminars & cultural activities in the chosen fields. STUDENTS We have organized in the past seminars for student groups that may get credits at their own schools, combining Spanish with Andean Culture. The College scholars may also give other courses of their own curricula in our facilities. WHO WE ARE Our organization was created in 1998, taking advantage of the great experience of Milla Turismo running educational tours in the area of the Peruvian Andes. We aim to combine the rich travel experience in Perú with short educational programs like seminars or demonstrations that would give an accurate background on fields that require knowledge on sciences as archaeology or folk medicine. Then we decided to gather the best specialists from the local Universities, and each in their own field created a seminar setting academic objectives, building an small curricula, and designing activities primarily focused on travelers, both tourists and students. And we launched the “INSTITUTO DE ESTUDIOS ANDINOS” OUR FACILITIES We rent classrooms from the local Universities and best study centers in town.We search to provide ample and light classrooms, equipped with data display, overhead projectors, whiteboards. We have coffee available, as well as internet facilities and gardens. OUR RATES These programs are primarily designed for group learning, and we prefer to quote every seminar individually. However a good idea of the cost for seminar is $50 per person per day, including field trip & lunch.
