Lima - Nazca - Arequipa- Puno - Cusco

Day 1:
Arrival to Lima Transfer to the hotel Lodging at chosen accommodation.

Day 2:
Brief introduction in to the city and leisure activities.

Day 3: LIMA-PISCO
Early depart from Lima (8.00 am.)
Brief stops on the way (Beaches, hacienda, or villages) Arrival at Paracas, By mid afternoon return to Pisco, leisure time. Overnight

Day 4: PISCO-HUACACHINA Breakfast.
Early opportunity to visit the Ballestas Islands (optional 8. to 10.30 am.)
Transfer to Ica. Visit to the artisan vineyard at "El Catador" or alternatively to Viña Vista Alegre (lunch opportunity on peruvian typical delicacies).ARRIVAL TO HUACACHINA Leisure activities: Trekk to the desert, sand-boarding, or motorcycling over the dunes. Lodging
Pisco to Huacachina 71 Kms Driving Times 1 hour, 40 minutes

Day 5: HUACACHINA-ICA-NAZCA
Early wake up depart for Ica. Lunch on route (on their own)
Arrival to Pampas de Nazca.

Day 6: NAZCA
Visit to Chauchilla cementery.
Visit to the gold mill and pottery workshops

Day 7: NAZCA-AREQUIPA
Depart towards south
Visit to Puerto Inka
Brief visits to villages along the way.
Arrival to Arequipa
Lodging in Arequipa

Day 8: AREQUIPA
Leisure activities
Free day in Arequipa.
Tour of Santa Catalina Convent.
Tour of the city and surroundings.

Day 9: AREQUIPA-CHIVAY
Board the bus to Chivay. Drive to the Apacheta (A mountain pass at 4,800 m.s.n.m.)
Depending on group's interest, we may take a longer road through Callalli, Sibayo Tuti / Canocota.
Arrival to Chivay. Lodging at Colca Valley (Chivay)

Day 10: COLCA VALLEY
Visit to the Colca Valley
Villages of Lari- Achoma Yanque Coporaque
Cruz del Condor (Condor sights)
A box lunch or pic nic is reccomended for today.
Second overnight at Chivay

Day 11: CHIVAY-PUNO
Early depart to Puno
A box lunch or picnic is recommended for todayArrival to Puno
Ancient colonial village, full of contrasts, The Colonial temples, the beautiful handcrafts (pottery & textiles) outstand from other destinations in Peru.
Lodging in Puno

Day 12: PUNO-ISLANDS
Journey to Titikaka lake.
Visit to Uros, Taquile & alternatively Amantani.
Spend the night with the natives.

Day 13: ISLANDS-PUNO
Visits of settlements on the islands and also on the shores of Chucuito Peninsula. Visit to an small Interpretation center.
Visit to Llachon

Day 14: PUNO-CUSCO
Visits on the way:
Pukara, great church and a huge pyramid, dating some 3,500 years old.
Stop at Hot Springs and La Raya, the higuest point on the way. Lunch at Sicuani.
Visit to the temple of Wiracoha, Raqchi, where a great wall surrounds the citadel in an extension of 10 Km. Finally Andahuaylillas, picturesque village and colonial church also known as The Sixtine Chapel of the Americas. Arrival to Cusco.

Day 15: CUSCO:
Free day for visits of your choice.

Day 17: MACHUPICCHU-CUSCO:
Leisure morning at Aguas Calientes.
Optional return to Machupicchu.
Train back to Cusco.
Lodging in Cusco.

Day 18-19: CUSCO
Leisure days in Cusco
Optional visits in Cusco & surroundings (market visits.)

Day 20: CUSCO-LIMA-BACK HOME
Flight to Lima, brief visit of modern city.
Transfer to airport to take the flight back home, assistance for flight connections.
