This route combines the traditional Inca Trail with the hike to Salkantay, the most representative mountain of the Vilcabamba mountain range (6,264 masl / 2,055 fasl). The daylight is appropriate to appreciate the beauty of the Andean landscapes and the rainforest. In this trek visitors can have interaction with Andean people and learn from their customs and traditions.

During this tour visitors will camp in places regulated by the authorities. Baggage control and trash disposal are strictly controlled. A team of guides, porters and cooks accompany the visitors throughout the tour. Free traffic is not allowed through the Inca Trail.

It is required at least 6 months in advance to schedule this trip since the admissions to entry to this trail are controlled by the authorities, and its authorization implies an immediate, non-modifiable, non-endorsable and non-refundable payment.
